About the Author: Sandy Kibling
I have served the health care industry in many roles, including physician consulting, with physician groups nationwide, renegotiating their contracts with health insurance companies for better reimbursement and contract terms. I also worked for a large healthcare insurance company in a leadership role. My experience included working on the frontline, addressing physician issues related to contracting, reimbursement, compliance and practice management. At the company, I also worked as Director of Provider Experience, where I addressed provider concerns and patient issues to get to a positive resolution.
I was disheartened, by the struggles people faced to access deserved healthcare. I have made it my mission to change this.

About The Savvy HealthCare Lady Book Series
The lack of healthcare knowledge is concerning and has affects for you and your loved ones every day.
- People file for bankruptcy because of the inability to pay for healthcare costs.
- People live a debilitating life that affects the time spent with family and making memorable moments. This is often because of living with a chronic condition (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, knee pain etc.) that prevents them from living their best life.
- People die.
And in many cases, this is because of a lack of knowledge. Something usually has to happen before most of us think about healthcare, because of its complexity. The situation is now compounded with not feeling well, navigating a complicated healthcare system, and figuring out how to pay for care.
We must change how we share healthcare knowledge to empower you to make smart healthcare decisions. This book series is all about taking complex healthcare topics and making them simple. Topics in the series are relevant and informative in a quick read and concise format, along with key patient tips. After all, who wants to read a 500 page healthcare book? Let’s make it short, simple and, once and for all, demystify healthcare.
